Behavior Technician
Full-time, Part-time
Aim High Impact is a department of Aim High PDX, a 501(c)3 nonprofit committed to providing youth resources since 2003. Aim High Impact is a behavioral health clinic providing full-time, in-center Applied Behavior Analysis treatment to children with autism. Aim High Impact primarily accepts clients who have been turned away from other providers due to the severity of their behaviors. You will begin your career at Aim High Impact by earning your Behavior Analysis Regulatory Board certification (BARB), paid for by Aim High. The certification requires 40 hours of online training, also paid for by Aim High.
Our clinic is open for services within the hours of 8:00am to 6:00pm. We have Full-time positions available with varying start times that are assigned on a rotating basis, averaging 35-40 hours per week. Part-time positions must be available 12:30-6pm Monday - Friday, averaging 25 hours per week.
Basic Requirements

Position Responsibilities
- Demonstrate and implement behavioral principles, instruction, and data collection
- Ensure that all necessary materials are well-organized and well-maintained
- Assist in client assessment and progress reports as requested
- Implement and interpret student assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Assist in developing creative solutions and strategies that will engage the client and facilitate learning
- Communicate and work alongside with other BTs, RBTs and program managers
- Provide recommendations based on behavior interpretation and program data
- Monitor student progress based on data collected through behavior tracking and program implementation
- Maintain effective and efficient record keeping procedure daily
- Perform Functional Assessments (FAs) as new behaviors arise
- Debrief after behaviors, accidents, or other significant instances
- Train new staff when applicable
- Implement toilet training protocols and other hygiene programs
- Work 1:1 with clients and occasionally 1:2 when necessary
- Occasionally attend outside visits and appointments (home training, doctor's appointments, etc.)
- Participate in and receive feedback
- Participate in group program implementation alongside other BTs/RBTs and their client(s)
- Facilitate post-behavior debrief with clients when necessary
- Collaborate with the client’s support team, including attendance at scheduled meetings
- Participate and assist in parent trainings (in-center and in-home)
- Participate in field trips as needed
- Maintain client, parent, and staff confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Other duties as assigned
